Vorige week kwam ik naar aanleiding van de verkiezing van de raad van bestuur van IAB Belgium (Internet Advertising Bureau) de volgende verkiezingsoproep tegen:
“Years after my first mandate, I believe that it is more then ever needed to have a broader view on advertising: evolutions in online, (interactive) television, social media, mobile and tablets, … they all offer great commercial opportunities but also new challenges. I think the IAB needs both traditional board members (who really know the business of display, search, …) combined with some non-conformist people like myself.
Today I am no longer linked to an agency nor any specific sector (media-company, sales house, creative houses, …). This guarantees a position of independency towards market evolutions and market players. I believe it will be my role in the IAB Board to bring in inspiration and knowledge to deal with the different aspects of interactive advertising today, while preparing the organization for the digital challenges of tomorrow.”
Wat denkt u hiervan?
